In the winter we brothers and sisters of the Gillespie Family meet for a dinner party. This year we met at Paul and JoAnn's house, and shared an Iron Chef inspired meal. Each couple was assigned a course of the meal. The secret ingrediant was "The Orange."
The meat was Pork Loin with an orange sauce, by Bus and Susan we also enjoyed appetizers (Jeff and Laura), salad (Mary and Jerry), rice (John and Dorothy), vegetables (Paul and JoAnn, and Kelly), breads (Brian and Petrea) and dessert (Bob and Janice)--all flavored by oranges.
Kelly prepared the carrots and managed to feature both the flavor and the color. It was a lovely, and delicious evening! Thanks to Bus and Susan and Paul and his family for hosting!!
