Rocky road cake (get it...because it has a road on it made out of the ingredients you see in rocky road ice cream?) Yeah, don't think that I am that creative. I got the idea out of a magazine. It is my goal and hope some day that I can join a charity called Angel cakes. They make birthday cakes for kids in shelters, foster care or are homeless and hospice patients. I think it is a really cool organization - and sort of like practicing different kinds of cakes so I can someday join (you have to bake a cake to be approved as one of the bakers). Of course...as you can see above, I need a lot of work :)

ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea--Maybe I could cook for a shelter. I do so love to cook, but Dad and I are off desserts--I've been wondering if I could roundup some Deacons to cook for--I miss missionaries!
