May Cooking Club

I love reading all of your adventures in cooking. Thanks for experimenting with me. I must admit I hadn't made the short ribs recipe before. Now I realize I probably should have tried it before I suggested it, but it's fun to discover what works and what doesn't. I feel a bit closer to all of you (who knew short ribs could be so bonding?) and can't wait to cook something new in the coming months. Elizabeth has volunteered for May. Look for a post from her detailing May's challenge. Mom had a great idea for her month, do you want to take June, Mom? Who would like to do July? August? September? I don't know if picking one specific week in the month really worked. I know I wasn't able to cook it that week, what if we just say cook anytime in the month? Does anyone have other suggestions to make this more fun or more efficient or more . . . ?

  1. I think cooking in sometime in that month. i haven't cooked the shortribs yet. I want to, but everytime I go to the store I forget beforehand to write down everything that I need for it. Dylan has been working a lot and late too, so I have hardly done any "real" cooking anyway. But I am still eager to participate when I can!!! Thanks for getting this going!

  2. So I tried your braised ribs recipe and it was A TON better. I actually really liked it and will probably do a repeat performance on that one. I am excited for May and have been researching lots of great recipes :)
